Saturday 4th September

Awareness in Sitting

When you sit on a chair - do you sit down or do you sit up?

We spend so much time in sitting that it has a profound effect on the
overall quality of our organisation.

Most people leave the act of sitting to chance and it can have a
degenerative effect .

This is a pity.

The act of sitting is a dynamic, vital and potentially a regenerative
function,

i. e.. it can be fun and feel great!

In this workshop we will bring some of  the wonderful movements from
lying on the floor into the vertical plane in a chair.

Please let me know if you are coming, so I can run off to Ikea and buy a
stool for you :)

Saturday 22nd May, "Balance"

Balance matters, Don't lose it..

It truly is one of the most important functions in life.

Most people leave it entirely up to chance..

How's your relationship with gravity going??

Saturday 26th June Rolling & Hips

Youthful mobility, Graceful fluidity (& endorphins)

Saturday 31st July thoracic Mobility

Thoracic Spine

We are going to investigate the Thoracic spine & the base of the neck

(c7-t1)

In this workshop we will investigate ways to free up the
thoracic spine,
to mobilize the vertebrae at the base of the neck and between the
shoulder blades to improve alignment and structural integrity.
This area is of the utmost of importance; not only because of the
postural implications, but also the functional ones,
When we become too hunched or dowagers hump becomes too pronounced the
natural forces that keep our skeleton healthy and functional become
uncomfortable or even intolerable adding to a vicious cycle of degeneration

These are quite complex issues that are most easily understood at a leisurely pace across a few hours.

Trying to get a clear picture in the usual 60 minute lesson is often frustrating and really is not doing Justice to an aspect of ourselves that can have a profound influence on life quality

This workshop will run from 11am to 4pm with a break for lunch

Cost $120.00
